Since joining Wompa in March 2024, Kevin has been a warm and welcoming presence in the Lobby and Office, ready to assist, connect, and share the vibrant work of American Theatre Company.

About Kevin Hudgins
Kevin’s love for art, creativity, and community shines through his role. When he’s not in the office or greeting visitors with a friendly “howdy,” Kevin enjoys:

• Cooking and baking
Kevin’s life journey is equally inspiring. Born in Germany, Kevin taught himself to read lips at the age of 3 due to his hearing impairment. Despite his quiet demeanor, he encourages others to connect: when the door to his office is open, Kevin is open too! He reminds us to embrace opportunities and approach Wompa with curiosity—there’s truly something here for everyone.
At home in Mounds, Oklahoma, Kevin is also a proud pet parent to four cats—Maggie, Aries, Britches, and Phen—each with their own personality. He fondly remembers his past pets, including dogs Dudley, Chewy, Ci-Ci, and cats Max and Bella.
Kevin’s message to other Wompa members reflects his gentle nature: “I’m a quiet person, mainly because I fear embarrassing myself or saying the wrong thing due to my hearing challenges. But don’t hesitate to say hello!”
